Higbee Beach Wildlife Management Area is nearly 1,100 acres of state-managed land featuring dunes, forest, scrub-shrub, and fields. And it is a beautiful spot for weddings.
You can get married on Higbee Beach as long as you submit an application for a Special Use Permit at least 30 days before the wedding and get approval from the Regional Superintendant. (Higbee Beach is state land.)
You can find the application on NJ Fish & Wildlife’s website. Email your application to wmapermitssup@dep.nj.gov. They can answer questions for you too.
