The Lighthouse Challenge is a rain or shine event and you have two days to complete the Challenge.  You can start at any of the sites on the Challenge and you’ll register where you start.  There is a registration fee of $4.  For the fee, you’ll receive a pocketed holder for the souvenirs that you’ll collect at each stop.  This year’s souvenirs pay tribute to the Keepers who manned the lighthouses and lifesaving stations.  The registration fee is the only cost to participate in the Challenge.  Some of the lighthouses do charge to climb, however, it is not necessary to climb any lighthouses to complete the Challenge.   If you visit all the stops on the Challenge, you will be entered in a drawing to win a gift basket worth over $500 with goodies from all the sites.

Each participating site determines its hours and participation level. Each site may charge an entry fee.
