42 tells the inspirational true story of Jackie Robinson and how he became the first African American baseball player allowed to play in the Major League.
This movie is being shown as part of a special event celebrating the magic of the number 42 in sports. Every ticket includes a reception with light refreshments, an art show by Sidney SmithJordan, a silent auction, and a pre-show lecture by noted baseball historian Gaylon White. The event starts at 5 pm with the movie beginning at 7 pm.
