WWII Army Veteran and local personality Joe Crews died Memorial Day at the age of 91. Funeral services were held Monday, June 4.

The City of Cape May issued a demolition permit for the Beach Theatre this morning. Demolition began this afternoon. The theatre stood on Cape May’s beachfront since September 1950, when it opened with Father of the Bride.
Cape May’s new Convention Hall is beginning to shape up. City Manager Bruce MacLeod says the project is on target for its May 2012 opening.
