Cape May’s 4th Annual Harbor Fest celebrated the 100th anniversary of the construction of the Harbor. Beautiful weather encouraged a large turn out of people. The Naval Air Station Wildwood celebrated American Pride Day on Saturday June 4th. Activities included an F-18 fly-in with a meet and greet with the pilot, wine tasting from Cape May Winery & Hawk Haven Vineyard, and Chevrolet exhibits featuring innovative new cars including the “American Pride Camaro.”

SOMA NewArt Gallery opened the 2011 season Saturday, April 30, with Harriett Sosson’s work “Portals” in both Gallery 1 & 2. Jo-Anne Echevarria-Myer’s mixed media paintings, “Uncontrollableurges,” were on display in Gallery 3. The show runs through May 31.
