First-time visitors, be sure to stop by the Cape May Welcome Center, located within walking distance to the Washington Street Mall. At the Welcome Center, you’ll find the following:

• Maps and local information
• Restrooms
• Bicycle rack
• Metered parking from 10am to 10pm

The Welcome Center is also where NJ Transit buses arrive in and depart from Cape May, so you’ll also see signage for the Cape May Station. But the Welcome Center is not a bus station. If you’re taking a bus, you’ll buy your ticket onboard from the driver (please bring cash). Trains no longer operate out of Cape May. Learn more about Getting to Cape May
