Monarchs & Cape May: A Migration Story

Join Cape May Bird Observatory’s (CMBO) Monarch Field Naturalists, Maya Clark & Anna Haggenjos, as they discuss all things Monarch Butterflies! They will review monarch ecology and lifecycle, as well as the efforts of CMBO’s Monarch Monitoring Project to increase our understanding of the fall migration of monarchs along the Atlantic coast, through both research and education. They will also be able to share some of the data they have collected from the 2023 field season! Most importantly, we hope you leave this presentation with an understanding of how you can help support monarch so that their migrant populations will enjoy a secure future.
