Love & Branca on the Lawn at La Mer
Drew Love and Jon Branca connected musically in their early teens, playing songs of their favorite artists at parties and small social events. Eventually, the duo began experimenting with musical composition, writing dozens of small pieces for fun. But, before any of these arrangements came to fruition, the two parted
ways for college. Drew and Jon didn’t lose touch with each other, or with music. Rather, each honed their skills in their own way. Jon formed a band with three friends while Drew concentrated on writing and discovering his vocal ability. Reconnecting over summers, they continued to write and develop a sound.
