Garrett Family Preserve Volunteer Event
Volunteers are invited to join The Nature Conservancy (TNC) staff at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 2 at the Garrett Family Preserve in Cape May. Staff will provide a brief introduction to TNC and the preserve as well as an educational talk about the differences between native, nonnative, and invasive plants with a focus on porcelain berry vine. Following the talk, volunteers will work with stewardship staff to remove vines.

Parking Information: There is a paved area large enough for an accessible van. It has space for two vehicles, with a loading/ramp space in-between. Additionally, there are 24 standard car spaces on compact gravel.
Restroom: An ADA-compliant portable restroom is situated near the parking area.
Water: A water cooler with potable water will be available for refilling water bottles.
