The Artists Holiday Market Place will feature over 10 artists with their original handcrafted wares.  “This is our version of the famous Christmas Markets of Germany, Weihnachtmarkt.” Explains Sanctuary Director, Gretchen Whitman. “We invite you to Shop Small and Shop Local this holiday season, as well as supporting some of the Nature Center’s favorite local artists.” There will be artists from many different mediums, including: Bruce Bieber – Wood Carving, Annette Patton – Nature Art, Paige Cunningham Felting, Janet Payne – Jewelry/Painting, Mary Byrne – Pottery, Sandy Mucha , Karen Baker, Cheryl Baker – Knitting/Fiber Art, Tina Giaimo – Photography, Carla Schaeffer – Pottery/Jewelry, Hali MacLaren – Jewelry, Laura McPherson – Jewelry/Potter, Dale Watson-Fiber Art, Louise Zemaitis – Nature Art. In the Center’s upstairs lounge mystery writer Miles Nelson, whose crime mysteries are set in beautiful Cape May, will be available to chat and sign books. Children’s book author Trinka Hakes Noble will be here Saturday only with her book The Legend of the Cape May Diamond and others. Signed books make a great holiday gift! Stop by the hot chocolate station as you shop and stroll or take a break and warm up by our fire pit, and enjoy lunch or a snack from Mac’s Café food truck all day Saturday. Fresh local evergreen holiday table arrangements created by our talented volunteers will be available for purchase all weekend.
