World Day of Prayer
Cape May churches will celebrate World Day of Prayer at the host church, Cape May Presbyterian at Hughes and Decatur Streets in Cape May.
World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement for women, men and children in more than 170 countries. Services begin in the Pacific at sunrise and follow the sun across the globe on the day of celebration. Each year a different country’s committee serves as the writers of the World Day of Prayer worship service. This year we are invited to learn about England, Northern Ireland and Wales’s rich history.
Women from local church groups will lead the service, and there will be an English Tea afterward. The service and tea are open to everyone. For more information and handicap access details please call the Cape May Presbyterian Church at 609-884-3949.
