Congress Hall is honing in on the holiday of romance for their guests throughout the month. With the option to stay at Congress Hall, The Star, or The Congress Place Suites, you will be welcomed by a selection of artisanal chocolates from local Louisa’s Chocolate Bar upon arrival in your room. This package comes with a romantic dinner for two in the Blue Pig Tavern where you can share a Valentine’s Day toast with two complimentary glasses of prosecco. The Cricket Club Valentine’s Prix Fixe Menu
February 14
The Cricket Club is featuring a special Valentine’s Day four-course menu that offers more options than most. There are four options for the first course, including duck crostini and baked oysters. The second course is their house salad. The entree course also allows you four options to choose from, including the truffled ribeye and pistachio crusted halibut. There are three dessert options: Godiva double chocolate cheesecake, raspberry sorbet, and caramel creme brulee—whichever slice of heaven you prefer! The Cricket Club has a full bar so no need to stop on the way.

Elaine’s Valentine’s Dinner and Comedy Show
February 17, 7pm to 11pm
Celebrate love with laughter the weekend following Valentine’s Day with a special dinner menu at Elaine’s followed by a live comedy show featuring Joey Callahan and more. The menu consists of American fare, including appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Seating for dinner begins at 7pm. Elaine’s has a full bar as well and will have live music Friday night from 6-10pm.

Exit Zero Filling Station Gal Pal Weekend
February 9-11th
Exit Zero Filling Station is filling this weekend with V-Day activities that do not require a romantic partner and emphasize girl power and friendship. Start out “galentines” celebrations with Taylor Swift trivia on Friday starting at 7pm. They invite you to form a team of at most four people and spend the night engaged in Taylor Swift trivia. It is all in good fun, but a knowledgeable Swiftie with a competitive edge may come in handy because there are prizes at stake. First place wins a $50 Filling Station gift card, second place wins a $30 gift card, and third place wins a $20 gift card.
The following day they are hosting Sappy Saturday, a day filled with classic romantic comedies playing on their big screen from 12-9pm. This is accompanied by Valentine’s Day inspired cocktails and any food from their menu. There is also a champagne and dessert package.
Top off this weekend with a “galentine brunch” from 11am to 3pm. Exit Zero encourages you to enjoy Sunday brunch with your besties while Parks & Rec girl power themed episodes play on the big screen.

Givens is hosting a Valentine’s shopping event in collaboration with seven local artisans that will be selling their handmade goods at the store all afternoon. This is a perfect opportunity to find your Valentine a unique and heartfelt present while supporting independent creative business. Grana BYOB Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe
February 8-19th
Chef Carl Messick welcomes you to Grana BYOB for a four course prix fixe menu with two options for each course. For the amuse you can select between rare beef crostini or crab cake slider, then your first course options are chilled rare seared yellowfin tuna or Maine lobster bisque—for this course you have the option of seared Hudson Valley foie gras for an additional charge. For the second course you can choose between house radiatore pasta or bacon wrapped local monkfish. The entree options consist of prime New York strip steak and roasted veal tenderloin with numerous course enhancements. Finishing off this tasting experience is the steamed toffee pudding or chocolate banana tart—with a chocolate covered strawberry as the petite fourth course addition.

The Grand Hotel Valentine’s Weekend Special

The Grand Hotel is offering a three day and two night Valentine’s weekend package including breakfast both Saturday and Sunday mornings, one complimentary drink per person in Hemingway’s Restaurant, and Saturday night dinner at a private table for two in the ballroom. The dinner consists of shrimp cocktail, salad, entrée (choice of crab cakes or short rib) and Chef’s dessert. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of house wine or champagne during dinner.

This beachfront restaurant located at Montreal Beach Resort is offering a prix fixe Valentine’s dinner for two including a complimentary glass of wine and three courses, offered across two weekends.
For starters you can choose from sweet pea arancini, lamb lollipops, or baked brie. The entree selections include Chilean sea bass, chicken saltimbocca, and New York strip. For dessert you can enjoy a piece of delectable red velvet cheesecake and anything from their full bar.

Cape May’s recently established French bistro Maison Bleue has moved to a new location on Washington Street inside The Hugh Bed & Breakfast. They are featuring a special Valentine’s Day four-course tasting menu. Transport to Paris with favorite flavors from the city of love starting with lobster bisque and then coquilles St. Jacques. The main course is Filet Rossini and dessert offers a warm chocolate gateau. The newly expanded main menu is available as well.

Nauti Spirits Distillery Paint & Sip – Late Valentine’s Day Date
February 18th, 1:45-4pm
Get creative at Nauti Spirits on the Sunday before Presidents Day with their Late Valentine’s Day Paint & Sip event. If you didn’t get the chance to celebrate Valentine’s Day earlier in the week, if you want to spend some quality time with friends, or even if you are still riding the romance wave, this is a great way to top off the holiday weekend. There is no experience necessary for the event and there will be a host artist present to guide you through the experience.
Check-in is from 1:45-2pm, painting will run from 2-3:45pm, and you’ll be finishing up from 3:45-4pm. Price ticket includes all the supplies needed to create your painting and one drink from either the Nauti Valentine menu or the draft.
