Perhaps Cape May’s best-known restaurant is
The Lobster House at Fisherman’s Wharf near
Schellenger’s Landing. An institution for almost fifty years,
the restaurant also features a year- round fish market,
coffee shop and seasonal outside raw bar as well as snacks
and cocktails served aboard a docked schooner. The larger-
than-life menu features the Lobster House’s famous Crab
Imperial, whole lobsters cooked to order, crabs, mussels and
oysters, scallops and King Crab Legs as well as traditional
filet mignon, strip steak and Chicken Française. The Lobster
House main restaurant will be closed until December. The raw bar, schooner, fish market and take-out are open currently for business.
