This year marks the 25th anniversary for the Annual Community Messiah Sing-a-Long held each year the Friday after Thanksgiving at Cape Island Baptist Church. This year mark your calendar for Nov. 23 beginning at 7 p.m. under the direction of Nancy Robinson. But get there early – otherwise you will be standing the entire time. And there is a bit of a practice on hour before the concert to brush up on your Handel. It is a wonderful event and the inspiration of Cape Island Baptist’s choir director Ruth Fritsch. She joined forces with the choirs from the Methjodist and Presbuterian churches to form a stronger union of voices. Start practicing those scales now so you are in form Friday night.
