National Beer Expert Gary Monterosso comes to Cape May for Food & Wine Celebration Sept. 18

Gary Monterosso will be appearing at Aleathea’s Restaurant, Inn of Cape May, 7 Ocean St., Cape May, N.J., as part of the 16th Annual Cape May Food & Wine Festival, sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), to discuss beer pairings with food.

Monterosso will lead the Celebration’s Beer Tasting Dinner set for Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. This is a four-course dinner and Monterosso will discuss his pairings with each course.

Gary Monterosso is an award-winning writer and currently appears on the History Channel special, The Epic History of Everyday Things. He appears on the popular 10! television program seen weekdays on NBC 10 in Philadelphia.

Monterosso’s first book, Artisan Beer, was released in December 2011, published by Burford Books.
In the Delaware Valley, he can be seen and heard offering beer tips on NBC 40 and WMGM News Talk 1400. This follows a successful run as host of the popular webcast, Still Crazy After All These Beers, ending after over 100 episodes. He has appeared on national television, has been a featured guest on radio programs throughout the country and was featured several times on BBC radio.
