The Cape May Film Society will conclude its summer film series on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Chalfonte Hotel (301 Howard Street, Cape May), screening the following films:
-August 3: “Roxie Hart” starring Ginger Rogers as the woman who inspired the hit movie musical “Chicago”!
“These are forgotten films,” says Jeff Giordano, award-winning independent filmmaker who is hosting the series. “Yet these three works are examples of great storytelling and filmmaking that are fun to watch and discuss.” Giordano will present short independent films preceding these features films. His films have appeared in film festivals around the world (and at the Cape May Film Festival).
Tickets for the event are $8.00. Pay an extra $7 and you get a free DVD from this year’s film camp.
