Join the Cape May Bird Observatory on Leap Day. We will be attempting to track down 100 species before the day ends. This full day special field trip has something to offer birders of all skill and experience levels. We do not set a firm daily schedule in advance, leaving us flexible to maximize birding opportunities, taking advantage of weather conditions, tides, and recent bird sightings. We may walk up to 1.5 miles, over generally level, sometimes muddy or sandy terrain.

If the weather is not favorable, there is an option of spending time at the Nature Center of Cape May where CMBO’s Ms. Schwaderer will deliver a presentation on winter birding in Cape May County. Tickets are required.
